New Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce website
We know it’s a cliché, but we really did do the whole “New Year, New Us” thing. Over the last few months, we have been working with our chamber members – Gold Pebble – to bring you this new website. We’d like to take this time to thank them for their fantastic help and support in developing the new site!
So… what’s new?
If you are already a member, you should be able to login by using your email and clicking forgotten password to reset your password. If this doesn’t work, please contact molly.oliver@ldbgroup.co.uk to resolve this issue.
For businesses that are not already a part of Hastings Chamber, head over to the join us page, enter your business details to set up your account, select your business size and which pricing option best suits you – annually or monthly – and set up your Direct Debit via GoCardless.
Now that you have created an account and are able to login, let’s get into the best features!
Head over to “My Profile” where you are able to edit your profile, view your upcoming events, and most importantly, add your member offers. When editing your profile, you can add all your business details including your business address, contact details, social media links, and logo.
Onto the Events page – here you can find all our upcoming events as well as seeing past events. Our events are a chance to network and share knowledge & information from guest speakers, members, and stakeholders such as our local MPs, public sector, and business leaders. Each month, our events are typically held on the last Thursday of the month in the morning, with the occasional meeting held on a different date. Make sure to not miss out on them by signing up to our newsletter.
When registering to an event you can do so as a member (part of the perks of being a member is discounted event prices, so make sure you are signed in for this option) or as a non-member. After clicking to register to the event, enter your business details, who’s attending – you can add up to three members to attend from your business, and dietary requirements/allergies we should be made aware of. For one-off payments with events, we will be using Stripe.
After each meeting, you can see a summary of what was discussed in our monthly blog post. This is where members who were unable to attend or would like a refresh of what happened can read about them.
And last but not least, the contact us page, where one person from our friendly team will come back to your enquiries within 1-2 working days.
