30th May @ 7:30 am - 9:15 am
As the Summer season approaches, one of the things we love about Hastings is the variety and wealth of events that are on offer across the Town.
They don’t just provide a bit of fun and entertainment there is valuable economic and financial benefit to the Town helping raise our profile; attracting visitors and tourists; bringing spending power into the area to name a few, which helps our business grow and create employment for local people.
So, we have invited some of the dedicated people who will be delivering just three of this year’s festivals:
- Firstly, Ray Gerlach will be talking about Hastings Fringe Festival 2019. Dedicated to local, national and international talent the festival, entering its 5th year, promises to be bigger and bolder again with more events, more venues, more colour, and more performances.
- Whilst Chamber members Naomi and Mandy, 18 Hours will be talking in more depth about this year’s St Leonard’s Festival being held on Saturday 29th June amongst many of the other events they help put on.
- We will also hear from Tina Morris on the plans for this years Coastal Currents Festival and celebrating it’s 20th Birthday. This year will be the first year of Coastal currents being an independent arts festival with a theme of the environment.
Combined with our usual mix of welcoming networking and chat you’ll be sure to make new connections and catch up with established ones too.
