Employment Law Updates & The Power of Customer Feedback
This March, we’re excited to be welcoming two of our members, Jenny Reardon from Rix & Kay and Paul Matthews from insight6, to the chamber, to share with our members the new employability laws and the power of customer feedback.
With new developments in HR and employment law set to take place this year, we’re delighted to be welcoming Jenny Reardon, Head of GatekeeperHR and HR Consultant at Rix & Kay, who will be covering the recent updates and anticipated legislative changes, to ensure your business is prepared. Topics will include:
- Day One Unfair Dismissal Rights – What employers need to do to comply
- Sexual Harassment – Understanding the employer’s proactive duty
- Flexible Working Requests – Best practices for handling requests
- Right to Switch Off – Implications for workplace policies
- Zero-Hour Contracts – Preventing misuse and ensuring compliance
- Sick Pay Reforms – Proposed changes and their impact
We are also thrilled to be welcoming Paul Matthews, Customer Experience Specialist for Sussex and Surrey at insight6, who will be sharing the five essential strategies for gathering and using feedback to drive business success, breaking down the most effective ways to measure customer sentiment, leverage Net Promoter Scores (NPS), and turn feedback into actionable insights that enhance customer loyalty and boost your reputation. Paul will also be sharing real-world examples, proven techniques, and plenty of takeaways to help you harness the power of feedback and transform your customer experience.
This meeting will take place at Freedom Works – The Palace Workspace and will include our usual friendly style of informal networking over some breakfast, catered by the Grumpy Cook, before we hear from both Jenny and Paul, with plenty of opportunities to network afterwards.
