29th March @ 7:30 am - 9:15 am

As well as all the usual networking and promotional opportunities, Wendy Gorham, Enterprise coordinator for Hastings Opportunity Area, will be our headline speaker this month.

Hastings is designated 1 of 12 Opportunity Areas in England.

Their ambition is that all children and young people have the key foundations in literacy and maths which they need to achieve their potential and be successful in the world.

The Hastings partnership board has agreed a plan to achieve that ambition; a copy of which can be viewed here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/social-mobility-and-opportunity-areas

They will be investing £6m of direct funding to improve outcomes for over 11,000 children and young people in Hastings.

Wendy will be along to tell us what this means in practice, what they will be doing, why this is relevant to the business community and how they can engage with the plan, plus I am sure much more.

Due to limited space we have a cut off at 65 for this event.

This event is now fully booked.
