4th December @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am
After a quiet start to the year; just the small matter of the UK leaving the EU after 48 years; who would have guessed what the year had in store for us all.
Two national lockdowns; the biggest quarterly economic slump on record; the first recession for 11 years; the tragic social and economic impact of a global pandemic; the NHS’s incredible response to arguably its greatest ever challenge to name just a few minor events.
We’ve developed a new vocabulary ~ COVID, lockdown, pandemic, outbreak, furlough, pivot, social distancing, fomite (we had to look it up too), contact tracing …..
When we meet we should be just out of our second lockdown, 27 days away from UK transition and possibly heading toward our second recession.
So just short of her first year in office we are delighted to invite Sally Ann Hart, MP for Hastings & Rye, to talk to the Chamber.
We can’t think what she will have to talk about!
The session will take place via Zoom. If you haven’t already, you will need to sign up to this resource (for free) in order to gain access to this session.
Details of the event and joining link will be sent to all ticket holders the day before.
If you're a chamber member, please login to receive your discounted rate. If you are not a member you can benefit from cheaper member rates by Joining Today! If you are not sure about joining yet you can still book by clicking on tickets below and paying the higher visitor rate.
