Who we are
Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business for Hastings, St Leonards and the surrounding area, representing its members to all levels of business, government and to community leaders across the private, statutory, community, voluntary and charitable sectors.
Our overriding aim is to make the voice of business even stronger. We work on behalf of our members, to grow the economy of the town and the wider region in order to create a more supportive environment for businesses to operate in – irrespective of their size, sector or age.

Sam Carter
Chamber Chairman
Sam is our new addition to the board of the Chamber, his friendly face chairing our monthly meetings, and making a difference in the community as he visits clients and presents in various workshops, like the start up business workshops run by Let’s Do Business Group.
Sean Dennis
Director
Often seen as the face of Chamber, Sean heads up and oversees the practical side of operations. Leading on meeting and event content, he is responsible for the development and growth of the Chamber, ensuring the voice of the Chamber and their members is heard going forward.
Emily Wright
Membership Manager
Having worked with small and medium sized business in East Sussex, providing support and helping them to continually grow over the last ten years, Emily’s role as Membership Manager consists of engaging with businesses around the potential opportunities, manages membership for new and existing Chamber members and encouraging new members to connect with the Chamber. She works eagerly alongside Sean to organise our upcoming meetings.
James Bryant
Administrator
James is our efficient and organised coordinator who assists Sean with the organising of bookings, memberships, and other administrative tasks.
Molly Oliver
Marketing
Molly helps with marketing Hastings Chamber through the events, website, social posts, and weekly newsletters (make sure you’ve signed up to stay up to date with all our upcoming events and the latest business news!)
